Opening Soon!
Where the first steps of healing and stability can begin
Our Purpose
Far too many times we see siblings in foster care being split up and placed in separate homes from one another. Fosterful is opening a group receiving care home in Longview, Washington, for youth and their siblings to stay together through one of the most uncertain moments of their lives.
This home will be called The Green House - a place built with a trauma-informed design, care, purpose, and in honor of a beloved foster caregiver we lost too soon, Crystal Green.
Who we serve
Serve youth ages 0-17, who need a stabilized, therapeutic landing place while a longer-term resource is being identified, instead of waiting in an office or being placed in a temporary emergency foster home.
Facilities
Community Relationships
Staff will work closely with DCYF social workers, behavioral health providers, caregivers, and community partners to ensure that every youth has the support and service plan they need to implement in their new placement.
